Exile & Return is an intimate and personal album which features the Brodsky String Quartet. It is both lyrical and transcendental and is a meeting point of departure from Tunde’s first two solo albums, Lamentation and Still Moment. The music of Exile and Return delves deeper into Tunde’s unique musical world both as a composer and Kora virtuoso. It is an album of a Post-modernist in every sense of the word. It explores themes of exile, dislocation and the quest to find that place of belonging.
